hello! i'm new to panfandom DWRP (i play in OC games on IJ) and i appreciate any tips and friendly suggestions as i learn the style and etiquette!

okino is sneaky, shrewd, and highly manipulative. while his motivations are for the greater good, he's amoral and prioritizes his own curiosity over empathy. he's lured allies to his hideout through enticement (although he was on board with kidnapping someone his partner punched out instead), tied them up, and performed mind reading experiments on them without their knowledge or consent.


i'm careful to check permissions, but if this is a character you don't want to interact with for any reason then there's no hard feelings if you'd like to opt out!
PREFS & PERMISSIONS |off-limits rape/sexual assault, including discussing it as part of a character's backstory. i'm also not into grimdark or having my character weigh in on hot button issues that mirror real life.
prose or brackets? i default to prose because i've never done bracket rp, but i'm happy to try it if you don't mind that i'm still figuring it out. i'll match what's given to me.
backtagging absolutely. for my part, i might be a little slow as i find my footing with DWRP and character voice but i'm pretty quick once i get comfortable. i'm also EST and not around much on fridays and most weekends.
threadhopping afaik this means joining in on an ongoing conversation thread? in which case, go for it if it's in a meme, dressing room, network post, or other lighthearted thread. ask if you're not sure!
fourthwalling only if it's part of a meme or a character's gimmick ala deadpool.
power usage 99% of the time yes but ask first if it's something more involved that would change the way he acts or thinks.
injury/fighting/death ask first.
romance okino's a tease and doesn't always mean anything by it. he's mostly interested in masculine people, with a preference toward himbos.
i go bonkers for okino/hijiyama, but that's by no means an expectation or a limit. i'm open to other canonmates and cross-canon characters as well.
